DECEPTION IS GOING EXTREME

Jesus warned us that in the last days great deception will occur, and that deception will come from unexpected sources.
Matthew 24:4-5 & 11 – And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Not only are we confronted with those who have religious pretense, posing as prophets, preachers and false anointed ones (Christ’s), but our modern technology has greatly enhanced the opportunity of numerus and unexpected sources of deception.
Consider CGI, Computer Generated Images, which appear so real that it is very difficult to see them as fake. Then there are holograms, images generated by projecting illusions into mid-air. And now we are being overwhelmed with AI, Artificial Intelligence, that masquerades as humans but are actually life-like robotics.
We are warned repeatedly in the Bible about being deceived BY ANY MEANS!
2 Thessalonians 2:3 – Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
One day while in prayer the Spirit of God clearly spoke to me saying, “Things are not what they appear to be”. This means that God recognizes that politicians, and the news media, are not telling us all the truth but are hiding, or giving misleading, information. This is probably due to many of them being corrupt and unrighteous.
1 John 3:7-8 – Little children, (young ones in the LORD) let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
(Note: unrighteousness is one of the keys to recognizing the work of the evil one, no matter how he masquerades himself.)
1 Corinthians 6:9 – Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
(Note: our current political correctness and wokeness is an abomination to God, contrary to His Word, and is being promoted by those who are deceived and evil.)
One of the greatest end-time deceptions will come from “the beast”, and ‘the antichrist”. The following in the Book of Revelation indicates that it will most likely be AI, (Artificial Intelligence), in operation that will bring this deception.
Revelation 13:11-15 – And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, (through CGI, holograms and AI) so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
The following will most likely be through the use of CGI and AI based on what we already know about it.
Revelation 13:15 – And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
The way to avoid being deceived is to know the Word of God, which fully reveals who God is, and how He operates. Then maintain a close and intimate fellowship and relationship with the Lord through Jesus Christ, and in prayer. This develops spiritual maturity which allows a person to recognize what is of God, compared to what is of the devil. The current problem is that spiritual maturity is lacking in too many who identify as Christians.
Hebrews 5:11-14 – Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
The apostle Paul had to warn believers about fellowship with the world, and the need to be separated, (holy).
Ephesians 5:1-6 – Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
(Note: “vain words” are those that are selfish, self-serving, and that accomplish nothing.)
Jesus told us what to look for as His return draws near; and deception will accompany the signs and wonders Jesus described: we need to recognize what is of God, and what is of the devil. Why? Because the last days will be distressing to mankind unless your life is hid in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:2-4 – Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead (to the world), and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Therefore we can have confidence in His ability to keep us as the darkness of the last days encroaches on the world and its corrupt Babylonian systems.
Luke 21:25-28 – And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Instead of being deceived, we who trust in God and His Word need to be the light in this world to show the way of life to those who have not yet found Jesus. And we are not to give in to the ways of the world as these trying times approach.
Luke 21:34-36 – And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Yes, deception has been increasing these days, even if you can’t recognize it: and it is going to get worse. God’s warning to us is, DON”T BE DECEIVED!
