GREAT DECEPTION IS COMING

          Jesus foretold us that a time of great deception would manifest in the last days before His return.

Matthew 24:4-5 & 24 – And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ (anointed); and shall deceive many. … 24 For there shall arise false Christs (anointed ones), and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

          How can there be false anointed ones that can show great signs and wonders?  They are the servants of Satan, and they can operate in the occult supernatural powers that are beyond natural man’s ability.  Yet there is an even greater form of deception that will be more widely used.

        There will be a means of deception so great that people would accept the lies that would be presented to us because they looked and sounded so real.  Such deception has not been possible until now.  How could this be?  It is now possible through modern technology!  Have you seen Computer Generated Imaging, abbreviated as CGI?  How about Artificial Intelligence, abbreviated as AI?  It looks and sounds so real that most people cannot recognize that it is all false and manmade.

          CGI and AI are already being used to bring about false images and messages, even appearing as preachers giving messages for supposed Christians, but they are not real.  This AI can even imitate the voices of known preachers and you cannot tell the difference.  Thus the deception has already begun: I have personally seen it on the internet.  What Jesus told the apostle John in Revelation has not been possible until now.

Revelation 13:11-15 – And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.   And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.   And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,   And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.   And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

         This image is most likely going to be composed of CGI and AI.  It will be so convincing that those without true knowledge of God’s Word, and a having a real relationship with Him will be deceived.  Thus the Antichrist will use this technology to deceive and control those whose names are not written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Revelation 13:8 – And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
         
           This will be a period of time of intense spiritual warfare.  We true believers are already in this spiritual warfare, but it will get much more intense before it all comes to an end.

Revelation 13:4-7 – And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.   And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.   And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

          The only way to be deception proof is to really know the truth – the Word of God, and to maintain intimate fellowship with Christ, and trusting in Him, and receiving the working and power of the Holy Spirit who is called the “Spirit of Truth”.

John 8:32 – And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 16:13 – Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

          Therefore we must be discerning, knowing Jesus Christ intimately, and also knowing His Word so that we are not drawn into the deception of CGI and AI that will become a tool of Satan.  We need to become deception proof and hold fast to Him and His Word in faith, being faithful to Him in all that we will experience!
