MAN: GOD’S MASTERPIECE – Part II

This article is a follow up to Part I which I published several years ago. This is written because of the serious threat that the enemy of our faith currently is. and has been, using for centuries to destroy mankind. However, too many people today are not realizing the depths of Satan’s destructive maneuvers.
John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Ever since God formed man and placed him on the earth to have dominion over all life on earth as His representatives, (Genesis 1:26), Satan has mounted an vicious attack on mankind to destroy him simply because man was made in the image and likeness of God. One of the devil’s most heinous forms of destruction has been, and still is, sexual perversion: this refers to the LGBTQ, homosexual perversion and transgenderism being promoted today by those who claim to be “woke”. But what is it that they are “woke” to? – the depths of Satan!
What most people fail to recognize is that this distortion of the sexes is not something new in our modern society. This actually began thousands of years ago with the devil’s introduction of pagan worship of make-believe gods and goddesses. In this article we will focus on female goddesses and how they are used by the devil. The Bible even identifies the names of some of these female pagan deities which include:
Ashtaroth – The goddess of the Canaanites and Philistines who is presented as the wife of the god Baal. She is called the Queen of heaven. She also goes by the names of Astarte and Ishtar for the Assyrians and other cultures.
Judges 2:13 – And they forsook the Lord, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.
Judges 10:6 – And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the Lord, and served not him.
Jeremiah 7:17-18 – Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
(Note: the Roman Catholic Church calls Mary, the Queen of Heaven; and at the time of Passover, which they call Easter, they make cakes, (called Hot Cross Buns), dedicated to the Queen of Heaven. This all stems from the pagan worship of Ashtaroth.)
The next goddess is even more significant to Satan in what she represents and the method of her worship.
Ishtar – the goddess (or mistress of battle) who turns masculinity into femininity. The following is a quote from Jonathan Cahn’s book RETURN OF THE GOD’S - (page 131-132), regarding the historical worship of the goddess Ishtar.
“Then there were her priests, her performers, the cultic ministers of her temples, the men who dressed in female garments and took on female appearance. They would serve as examples of her power to alter sexuality. Some took on women’s names. Some would sing the cultic songs in the female dialect. Some even took on roles akin to consorts or wives. (Note: homosexual acts.)
Thus it was more than appearance or mannerisms. It was sexual. Ancient Akkandian texts give instructions to men on having sexual relations with the Assinnu, Ishtar’s feminized men. It was thus a feature of the goddess’s worship for her male priests to perform sexual acts with other men. A large part of Ishtar’s priesthood would today be classified as homosexual or gay; and her cult as one of androgyny, transvestitism, and cross-genderism.”
Consider what God said in scripture regarding such bizarre behavior.
Deuteronomy 22:5 – The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
Romans 1:24-28 – Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Diana – a goddess of Greece that was also found at Ephesus, whose followers the apostle Paul had to deal with:
Acts 19:24 – For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
Why is it that Satan likes to exalt female deities as goddesses? Is it because Satan wants to subjugate men as part of his destruction of manhood and masculinity? Or is it to make man subservient to females as deities in defiance of what God has ordained as divine order?
1 Corinthians 11:3 & 7 – But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
Satan wants to reverse this divine order established by God.
What is it that the liberal leftists and the “woke” people promote today? The very thing that Satan employed in ages past to destroy humanity. Corrupting the role of male and female that God had ordained to establish and maintain life and families. Satan hates man because he was made in the image and likeness of God; and he is especially working hard since God, through Jesus Christ, made a plan to redeem and restore man to what God originally planned. Satan uses such ploys even more aggressively today to bring about the destruction of mankind.
Where does Satan most heavily promote his destructive efforts? He is using our educational system, where he can influence young minds. Then he uses the entertainment industry, TV and movies, which has a significant audience. He also uses our government to create laws to protect such abominable life styles. What is more astonishing is that even some of our “so-called” churches push the “woke” agenda because they do not know God or His Word.
1 Peter 5:8-9 – Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
