INCREDIBLE DECEPTION

It is very troubling to see how gullible the majority of our society is regarding the lies and deceit put out by our national news media, government officials, politicians and corrupt educators. Their repeated lies have conditioned and programed the responses of those who are not able to discern or think for themselves. They allow these liars to do their thinking for them. Far too many people have come to believe their lies and accept their immoral justification for sinful activities. Yet this is exactly what was foretold to us in the Bible of how things would be just prior to the return of Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:13 – But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. Thus, the truth is not in them!
Romans 1:22-25 – Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Those who use lies and deceit to influence and control the responses of others are actually “children of the devil”; they are followers of Satan, whether they realize it or not). Jesus declared this about those who are such liars.
John 8:44 – Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Just as Jesus stated, these liars have the same lusts of their father, Satan; and the truth is not in them because of their lusts; they prefer the ways of the flesh rather than the truth. They are also murders who promote abortion. Thus, they are “THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL” who should not be listened to, and whose advice should not be followed.
1 John 3:10 – In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
These devil inspired people are instrumental in bringing about the “evil day” prior to the Lord’s return. They are under the influence of and controlled by Satan and his demonic evil spiritual forces.
Ephesians 6:12 – For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
True Christians are instructed to put on God’s provided armor and STAND against their lies and deceit in the evil day. (The “evil day” refers to a time of calamity when just about everything is falling apart – as they are now.)
Ephesians 6:13-17 – Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Please note that every piece of this spiritual armor is an application of the Word of God that is to be applied into your life. This shows how important it is to get into the Word of God so that the Word of God can get into you. Notice the prayer of Jesus for His followers in John 17:
John 17:15-17 – I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
The word sanctify means to set apart: Jesus prayed for us believers to be “set apart” by His TRUTH. The Word of God IS truth, so knowing it is the protection you need to guard from the lies and deception of the enemy. It separates us from the children of Satan and the vileness that is in this world.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-11 – For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
The conclusion of the matter is: don’t give heed to the lies and seducing spirits that are presented through TV news programs and the talking points of wicked lying government officials, politicians and so-called educators or experts. Think for yourself having your mind filled with the knowledge of God and His Word so that you can make proper decisions and choices.
The Word of God provides you with true knowledge. Knowledge is equated with light or illumination. Jesus called His followers to be His light in this world which leads and guides others to truth.
Matthew 5:14-16 – Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Ephesians 5:8-11 – For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
When you know the Word of God and walk in fellowship with Him, you are equipped to speak against the workers of darkness and “reprove them” as instructed in the verse above. This means don’t be silent; don’t hide your light, but let it shine for others to see. They need to see so they too can come out of the darkness that holds them bound. We need to stop this incredible deceit and its darkness by showing the truth and the light of Christ and His Word.
