MAN’S KINGDOMS vs GOD’S KINGDOM
By W. G. Guy
While meditating on the Word of God, the Holy Spirit revealed a simple, yet profound, truth that is very significant. This is a comparison between the kingdoms of this world and the Kingdom of God. The first comparison is that the kingdoms of this world are full of spiritual darkness which alludes to evil. The Kingdom of God is full of light, as is written, “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all” – 1 John 1:5.
Why are the kingdoms of this world evil and full of darkness? The answer is simple; look who is in control of the kingdoms of this world – Satan. This is clearly revealed in the Bible where the devil is tempting Jesus:
Luke 4:5-7 – And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
Satan brags about the fact that he has control over the kingdoms of this world; this is accomplished through those who reject God as our Heavenly Father, and instead, seek the things of this world. Satan has the things of this world under his control because they were given to him in the Garden of Eden – Genesis 3. He even told Jesus that they were delivered to him; this was when mankind submitted to his deceit and ate the forbidden fruit. God gave man dominion over the earth, but man gave it to the devil upon yielding to his lie. Since then the three areas of human vulnerability has been capitalized be Satan.
1 John 2:15-16 – Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Here is the revelation that the Lord showed me while meditating on these things: How could the kingdoms of this world appeal to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, since He is not only of the Kingdom of God, but is also the King of God’s Kingdom. The kingdom of God is so much greater than the kingdoms of this world that there is no comparison. Besides this, God has already promised that all these things that are on earth are to belong to His Son, Jesus Christ:
Psalm 2:7-8 – I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Satan’s tactic is to have man, including the Man Jesus, to focus on the physical and material things of this corrupt world rather than the eternal and spiritual things of the kingdom of God. Jesus kept His focus on His Heavenly Father and His domain rather than the meager material thigs of this world.
Consider what are the physical and material things that are in this world: sin, corruption, sickness, disease, lies, deceit, pain, suffering, thefts, fighting, wars, death and destruction. How can these things be comparable to what is in the kingdom of God which is righteous, peace, joy and the abounding love of God and the absence all that is in the kingdoms of this world.
Now as to why Satan is so successful in manipulating mankind into doing his evil work for him. There are evil groups of people who identify as Luciferians, worshippers of Lucifer (Satan), that lust after the physical and material things of this world along with power and control over its population. They are globalist’s intent on forming a New World Order against the plan and purposes of God; which is nothing new as the same thing was done back in the days of Nimrod – Genesis 10. They even formed corporations and an organization known as the Lucius Trust and other Luciferian names for the purpose of gaining absolute control of the world and all its population, wealth and all material possessions. They use all manner of Satan’s evil means to gain this control.
Luke 12:15 – And he (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Members of their leadership have been interviewed and asked why they worship Satan, the devil. Their answer was very revealing: they said they read in the Bible and saw that Satan has control over all the kingdoms of this world, as stated in
Luke 4:6-7 above. Since such power could be attained by worshipping the devil that is what they do. Thus the devil has ensnared them by so doing, and these evil people have become Satan’s servants to do his bidding in works of darkness in this world.
Romans 6:16 – Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
These unfortunate and beguiled people have put their trust in the wrong place and their focus on the wrong things. (These are the kind of people who are working against America, President Trump, and against the true Body of Christ.) This is because the objectives of this world’s kingdoms are nothing more than trash compared to the kingdom of God. What do you do with trash; you dispose of it by burning it. What is going to happen to the kingdoms of this world and all of its things when God’s judgement falls? It will all be burned up!
2 Peter 3:7 – but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2 John 2:17 – And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Make sure your faith and focus is on Jesus Christ, the King of the Heavenly Kingdom, and the things and the Word of God
where the true riches are. The kingdom of God is so desirable that Jesus gave us two illustrations that men would give all their worldly possessions to obtain His kingdom.
Matthew 14:44 – Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Matthew 13:45-46 – Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Since God wants the best for us, Jesus instructs us to seek His realm or Kingdom first, along with His righteousness, which is the light of His glory. And not to be concerned over the material things of this world that He promises to provide to all those who trust in Him.
Matthew 6:33-34 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
We can see that God’s kingdom is of far greater and of eternal value than any of the kingdoms of this world! What is your heart set on?
Luke 12:23-26 – And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.
Your focus should be on Jesus Christ and the kingdom He declared and brought to us to inherit through Him and with Him.
