DO NOT FEAR TO LET THE LIGHT SHINE
In the time of darkness, (which represents evil), don’t hide your light, but let it shine! With the recent ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court in favor of same sex marriage, America has clearly entered the day of darkness (evil). Yes, the days are evil in America because we have godless people in positions of power in our government; and they can only rule based on the evil one who guides them. And the devil and his demons are laughing and throwing a party because of how successfully they have manipulated those in our government.
Yes, we are now in the days of darkness and Satan has taken the reins of the United States government. Actually he has been the guiding force of governments throughout history. Even the devil himself admitted this to Jesus Christ when tempting Him:
Luke 4:5-6 – And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
America was founded on a fresh new start by our godly founding fathers who sought God in prayer for guidance in setting up our new government over 200 years ago through the Constitution. Those wise men knew even then that moral values and godliness was required to maintain the new republic. John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Godless leadership in our government over the years has not only rejected God, but has embraced the character and nature of the devil, and employed his subterfuge in our laws. No wonder they have disdain for our Constitution!
John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Isaiah 25:20 – Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put
bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Psalm 119:126 – It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law.
Isaiah 10:1 – Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness (legislation) which they have prescribed;
Psalm 94:20 – Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief (lawlessness) by a law?
Thus Satan is the one working behind the scenes manipulating people in our government, and what we must recognize is that Satan, causes those in our government, to see true Christians as the enemy; this has already been declared by documents published by the Department of Homeland Security and the F.B.I. But you must know this, Christians are NOT TO FEAR this enemy and go into hiding. Jesus declared we are to make our presence and faith known, even in the face of the enemy.
Matthew 5:14-16 – Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Who will see the light of His glory if Christians, who represent His glory, hide it? Let your light so shine so that illumination, the revelation of Jesus Christ, may be seen by others all around you. A light shines the brightest in times of darkness – and the darkness has arrived!
Matthew 10:31-33 – Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Do not fear or cower from the governments (devil’s) laws or accusations; Satan is also called the accuser of the brethren, (Revelation 12:10). Do not fear making your stand for Jesus Christ, the Word of God (Bible truth) and righteousness. Being the
light is when the power of God manifests as your defense as well your offense against the wiles of the enemy, the evil, the darkness, (aka our corrupt U.S. government) – Satan.
Luke 10:19 – Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Ephesians 6:10-17 – Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Consider again verse 13-14, “withstand in the evil day (day of darkness). Stand therefore….”. We need to recognize that the evil day of darkness has come to America. We as true Christians must arise and shine and resist the darkness.
Isaiah 60:1-3 – Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Even the laws of nature instruct us because darkness is the absence of light, and light eliminates the darkness. Don’t hide; stand and fight the fight of faith! Yes, the enemy (even through those in government) will oppose you, but remember who is on your side.
Romans 8:18 & 31 – For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Our corrupt government even tries to make churches observe Romans 13:1-2 saying we are required to obey its authority. However, the devil frequently miss-applies God’s Words. They fail to recognize that Romans 13:3-4 tells us that God instituted authority for righteousness, for good. This means that authority that imposes unrighteousness is not to be obeyed as stated by the apostle Peter.
Acts 5:28-29 – saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Brethren, our time has come to stand and fight the good fight of faith, we are at war and it is primarily a spiritual warfare we are engaged in and our weapons are not fleshly but spiritual as identified in Ephesians 6 above.
2 Corinthians 10:9-10 – For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
