WHY MANY WON’T BE SAVED

Jesus told us that many people follow their own will which is the path of eternal destruction.
Matthew 7:13-14 – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Many of these people who will not be saved are those that reject truth and facts because they have a wrong belief system. They have become liberals, leftists or progressives, and they are on the path to destruction and refuse to recognize it. They will not accept truth and facts that are presented to them because they have their own ideology that they hold to. Their real issue is that they believe the lies that the devil has presented to them through various forms of teaching and indoctrination from other liberal sources. Scripture tells us that these are among those that cannot be saved when presented with the gospel message of Jesus Christ who died for our sins.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 – whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The above passage refers to those who are deceived by what is commonly referred to as being antichrist which operates after the manner of Satan who uses his powers to deceive people from accepting what is truth so that they can be deceived to believe what is false. Consider just what are the workings of Satan, and the spirit of antichrist.
John 8:44 – Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Here we see that Satan is called a murderer, which means he delights in killing. What is it that the liberal, leftists and progressives do and promote – killing people. They are the proponents of abortion resulting in the death of multitudes of millions of innocent children. In addition, those under the influence of the devil commit other murders, even of their own kind, and for various reasons. They are also liars as they lie to promote their own personal ideas and agendas.
John 10:10 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Jesus refers to the devil as a thief whose purpose is to rob mankind of what God has provided. So he comes to steal from us the very things God gave to mankind. Then he is again described as a murderer that kills whoever he can by various means; especially by sickness and disease. Jesus also says he is a destroyer and works to wreck what is true, right and proper, which includes destroying our lives, our livelihoods, our marriages, our families, our testimony and witness, and whatever God has provided for us. He even works to try to destroy the church, if we let him.
These workings of Satan have been in constant use against mankind since the time of Adam and Eve. However his strategies have changed since the resurrection of Jesus from the grave when Satan thought he got the victory by having Jesus crucified. Since then he has had to employ even more subtle means to infiltrate the church and work his deception.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 – For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Christians fail to recognize just how pervasive this devilish infiltration has been in and among the churches today. This infiltration began way back during the apostle Paul’s time as he gave warning about it. Paul also speaks about how that their “end shall be according to their works”.
Jesus also speaks about wolves in sheep’s clothing and of their ultimate end:
Matthew 7:20-23 – Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Now that we have seen the deceivers, the wolves in sheep’s clothing, we will look at those that are deceived as mentioned in 2
Thessalonians 2 above. First, the result of deception is that they have no love of the truth. If you noticed that in the past several years that when these liberals are presented with facts and truths that they cannot accept them because such information is contrary to the lies that they have come to accept. (This has been very evident among our current wave of liberal and leftist politicians.)
The result of their rejection of truth is that they seek to justify themselves and their errant points of view; thus they will not accept that they are wrong as well as the fact that of them being sinners in need of salvation, They will not be saved because of their unbelief and denial of the truth. The last part of the passage listed above is the “tell all” as to their end: “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie”. This shows that they are unable to come to the knowledge of the truth.
They not only have a delusion, but a STRONG delusion. This means that the delusion is so great that it has them bound in it and they will not be able to get out of its influence. Note that it is God that gives this strong delusion to them because they reject
Him and His truth.
The end for these deluded liberal leftists is damnation according to scripture: “ that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness”. Another reason for their terrible end is that they “had pleasure in unrighteousness”, which is absolutely an abomination to God. Why is this; because they enjoy killing babies, as followers of Satan, destroying the very image and likeness that God has created in the womb. They also take pleasure in persecuting the church and the true believers. In addition, they relish in their lies in order to obtain power and control. They also enjoy destroying things as was witnessed in the violent demonstrations during the year 2020. This is exactly what Jesus said things would be like just before His return; it would as in the days of Noah which were filled with corruption and violence, (Genesis 6:11-12).
With God’s predetermined end of those that are so deceived it is useless to witness or even to pray for them. But we do need to pray for those who have not become the deluded progressive leftists so that they do not become victims of this great deception of the enemy, and so that they can accept the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We need to pray especially for our young who attend the schools where these leftist teachers and professors put forth their leftist antichrist teachings.
All this simply means that we are at WAR; it is a spiritual warfare and we who are true believers must stand and fight. This current battle we fight is primarily with the leftists, liberals and progressives; mostly democrats but some republicans too. This means that how you vote in each election is more meaningful than many realize. Don’t vote by party line but their character; those who are truthful and honest. (It is not hard to recognize them if you really look. As Jesus said, “by their fruit you shall know them”).
Ephesians 6:10-18 – Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Please recognize that each piece of this armor that God has provided for us to use is an application the Word of God. This applies to every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ because we are all in this warfare, weather you realize it or not; so we all must fight. To be properly equipped in this battle you need to study the Bible, (be in His Word and have His Word in you). We must also be in prayer for one another, especially for those on the front lines, (our leadership – spiritual and political). We are on the winning side in Christ as He is always with us and we can share that hope with others.
