YIELDEDNESS – WHO PULLS THE STRINGS
By W. G. Guy
In a time of warfare it is important first to be able to know and recognize who your enemy is and how he operates. In modern warfare the enemy likes to operate covertly which means behind the scenes and without recognition. Christians today fail to realize that they are in a spiritual warfare.
Jesus warned that in these last days there would be great deception and that many would be deceived and caught unaware of the enemy’s tactics – (Matthew 24:4-5 & 24). We now have the visible evidence that just such enemy tactics are being employed, yet still most people do not recognize it; thus making them vulnerable to be overcome by the enemy and be destroyed.
John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
In these days it appears that society is tearing itself apart with conflicting ideologies, political differences and purposed agendas. People may wonder who is actually in control as it has been mentioned that there is a “shadow government” or “deep state” operating behind the scenes that is orchestrating events and news. This is the enemy in operation.
The problem is that most people are not aware that there is a power working unseen and undetected that is manipulating events, actions and information to control what is going on in our society. It is all for the purpose of destroying true Christianity as well as the free and independent republic of the United States of America and to bring about the “new world order”. This is a long planned and strategic goal referred to as “globalism” to establish a global society ruled by the elite under the antichrist. One main target of the enemy action is the church which only partially stands in the way. The other target is a free and independent America which they see needs to be destroyed.
Some have heard about the secret and semi-secret societies along with non-governmental organizations of the rich and powerful elite; they are all part of the enemy. They are also all tied together working toward the same objective; and they are all under the same leadership – Satan. This is explained in the Bible even though those who have read about it yet fail to recognize what it entails.
Luke 4:5-7 – And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
In this passage we see that Satan is the one who has control over the kingdoms of mankind in this world, meaning the governments of man and many of man’s affairs. The devil admitted that this dominion was transferred to him when he beguiled God’s ordained governor of the earth, man, who fell prey to the devil’s trickery back in the Garden– (Genesis 3).
NOTE: The fall into sin actually was by what the woman, Mrs. Adam did – (1Timothy 2:14). However Mr. Adam took the responsibility for her sin by partaking of the forbidden fruit knowing that God had a plan to redeem mankind because that plan was established before the foundation of the world – (1 Peter 1:20). Eve committed an act of lust, but Adam committed an act of love for his wife. People forget what Adam was like before this tragedy; he was a son of God, and had God’s love nature in him - just like Jesus has and who did a similar yet greater thing for us.
After mankind’s lose of dominion over the earth, Satan gained that dominion since mankind submitted to his treachery. Since then, the devil is the one who has influenced and motivated mankind to organize these secret, semi-secret and non-governmental organizations, along with influencing evil rulers, kings and dictators, scheming to establish the global government in preparation for the antichrist.
We need to recognize the evil source behind these organizations and identify them since most people have no idea what they do and why they exist. Most will be surprised at the following partial listing of these nefarious groups: The Club of Rome, The Council of Thirteen, the Bilderbergers, the Skull and Bones Society, The Bohemian Grove, the Luciferian (Lucius) Trust, the Illuminati, the Masons, the Council of Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, including the United Nations. Unfortunately, this also includes individuals such as corporate leaders and persons in high government positions – many of our politicians.
You may wonder, how do people get caught up in such evil organizations and activities? It goes back to the evil carnal nature that mankind inherited from Satan at the time of the fall in the Garden. Adam and Eve lost the righteous God nature that was in them when they yielded to the devil’s ploy; it was that God given nature that died instantly. Then they received the sin nature of the devil when they submitted to him, and that sin nature has since passed on to all mankind and is the reason why Jesus had to come to redeem mankind from that carnal sin nature.
The Bible tells us that there is no middle ground, you are either submitted to God through Jesus Christ, or you are submitted to the sin nature and led by Satan’s influence. The choice is ours to make who we will serve:
Romans 6:16 – Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
When people lust for power, riches and control over others, Satan is willing to provide all such lusts to them if they will yield themselves to him; just as it was written in Luke 4 above when the devil offered the same thing to Jesus, if only Jesus would bow down to him.
1 John 2:15-16 – Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
We see from the above passage that the all that is in the world are items appealing to human lusts and are thus controlled by Satan, the god of this world – (2 Corinthians 4:4)
The godless people in these vile organizations have unknowingly bowed down to Satan because they lust for that power, wealth and control that he offers. As they do so, the devil then leads them to form these nefarious organizations for his purpose and to do his bidding. Most of these misguided and ill-informed people do this without realizing who they actually serve. Others do it on purpose and actually call themselves Luciferians, worshiping Satan because they recognized from Luke 4 that he had control of the kingdoms of this world and can give this power to whomsoever he wants.
The conclusion of the matter is that, as Christians, we are engaged in a spiritual warfare, though many do not even recognize it. The apostle Paul identified this struggle that we are up against as being Satan’s demons and fallen angels, and too few believers realize this fact.
Ephesians 6:12 – For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
So what are we as believers to do? Paul also gives us the answer:
Ephesians 6:10-11 – Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Standing in the power of God’s might means that true believers are to stand upon the promises of His Word. Notice below that each piece of His spiritual armor is based on the Word of God.
Ephesians 6:13-18 – Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Your loins are the softest part of your body and is to be guarded by truth – thy word is truth – John 17:17. The breastplate of righteousness guards your heart where faith is centered – and faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God – Romans 10:17. Your feet equip you to stand firm on the gospel of peace which is the good news that comes from the Word of God. The shield of faith is again based on God’s promises as recorded in His Word. The helmet of salvation is the knowledge of God’s love and provision for you that comes from His Word.
Then we have the sword of the Spirit which IS THE WORD OF GOD used and spoken as our offensive weapon against the attacks of the enemy.
Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
Then we have intercessory prayer on behalf of one another; this is like giving covering fire in a combat situation for other believers on the front lines or advancing in the thick of a battle. Use the Word of God in prayer because it is the power that God has given us to use along with the name above all names, Jesus – (John 14:14).
Then do not back down or yield your ground to the enemy, but stand firm, regardless of what the enemy throws at you. Also know how much God loves and cares for you.
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
1 John 4:4 – Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Luke 10:19 – Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
It is high time for believers to awaken to the times we are in, to know the tactics of the enemy of our souls, and to fight the good fight of faith. We are to stand against the wiles of the enemy and carrying forth the banner of His Word to set the captive free and proclaim the gospel into all the world – then the end shall come, but we must do our Lord’s work while we can.
Matthew 24:14 – And this gospel shall be preached into all the world, and then the end shall come.
Matthew 28:19-20 – Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The ignorance of too many believers regarding this ongoing conflict puts them in jeopardy. They are so engaged with the things that are going on in this world that they fail to see the bigger picture and prepare themselves for what is really coming.
Luke 21:28, 34-36 – And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. …..And take no thought to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
It helps to know who is really pulling the evil strings in this life and to be able to counter with the Word of God and to resist the workings of the enemy.
James 4:7 – Submit yourselves therefore unto God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Satan has control over all those yielded to him; they are under his influence and are manipulated by him for his evil purposes. The devil pulls their strings! However, God is in total control of those who put their lives and affairs in His hands. He is our shelter, provider and protector as well as our savior, healer and deliverer! He leads and guides us for His purpose and for our benefit.
Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy way acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
So who pulls your strings?
