THE CURRENCY OF HEAVEN
By W. G. Guy
During the night hours of May 21, I was having difficulty sleeping, so I did as I usually do on sleepless nights, and spent time praising and giving thanks to the Father and Jesus the Son as I rehearsed what He has done for me and my family.
While giving thanks and praise I saw that I was standing in a large pantry full of food and provision. At first I was not paying attention to this pantry or was even aware of being in it, but as I continued in giving thanks and praise I couldn’t help but notice that this pantry was getting larger and more fully stocked with food.
Finally I stopped and asked the Lord what was this I was seeing. He said, “This is the heavenly storehouse prepared for His children during coming time of great famine on the earth.” He has stored up abundantly for His children and said we can come to Him in time of famine and buy from His storehouse/pantry, even without money. How can you buy anything without money?
Then He reminded me of this scripture:
Isaiah 55:1 – Ho everyone that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
I was concerned about the idea of not having money to buy from His storehouse and He told me that THANKSGIVING AND PARISE IS THE CURRENCY OF HEAVEN with which we can purchase from Him what we have need of.
Therefore, scripture will be fulfilled:
Psalm 33:18-21 – Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that hope in His mercy; to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the Lord: He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.
Psalm 37:18-19 – The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time (end-time): and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
Matthew 6:31-33 – Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
When we come to God with prayer needs and requests, and we give God an offering of our personal praise and thanksgiving, He then provides what we are in need of from His storehouse – as He promised!
