WHY ALL THE CORRUPTION

What is corruption? Corruption is defined as: being evil; depraved or wicked; decay, moral or physical. While in prayer over the gross corruption in America, its government and institutions, the Spirit of God quickened to me the cause of all of this evil and wicked corruption.
Galatians 6:7-8 – Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Too many in America, especially in our government and educational institutions, are SOWING TO THE FLESH. Why? … because they reject God and His Word, and chose to walk after the lusts of the flesh. Thus, the result is CORRUPTION, which is clearly apparent!
So what is sowing to the flesh? Flesh, also referred to as the “self”, is the lusting or seeking of self-gratification; or selfishness. Scripture identifies the lusts as works of the flesh:
Galatians 5:19-21– Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Many of those in places of leadership claim to be wise and knowledgeable when in fact they are fools as stated in scripture. They are currently advancing gross sins like abortion, transgenderism, same sex marriage, fornication and all manner of sex sins, along with pornography, pedophilia, and various forms of addiction and other nefarious behaviors.
Acknowledging God in reverential fear is the beginning of wisdom, but too many reject God and even deny knowledge of Him, thus they are subject to corruption. The Democratic Party in 2008 even removed God from their party platform.
Psalm 14:1 – The fool hath said in his heart, “There is no God”. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Proverbs 1:7 – The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 9:10 – The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
The carnal wisdom of man is of the world and not from God. Such carnal wisdom creates problems and does not solve them; thus we have more problems. The liberals in government verify this since they reject God and all their actions just cause more corruption. Their wisdom is not of God; if it was problems would be solved and not created through their bitter envy and strife.
James 3:14-16 – But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil (demonic) work.
Those who profess to be wise and knowledgeable and don’t know God are the problem, and actually promote corruption.
1 Corinthians 1:19-20 – For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1 Corinthians 3:18-20 – Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
Scripture identifies a lot of America’s politicians, educators and leaders by what they do and the policies they promote.
Romans 1:22-31 – Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness (or corruption), fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Those that are carnal seek their blessings and benefits from the corrupt things they can obtain in this vile world.
1 John 2:15-16 – Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
We who believe and trust in God through Jesus Christ are redeemed from corruption and seek the things of the kingdom of God.
Matthew 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Colossians 3:1-2 – If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
The Lord God made a way for each of us to live above the corruption that is in this world. We are to intimately know Jesus, abide in Him, and walk in fellowship with Him: referred to as walking in the Spirit and in obedience to His leading.
Romans 8:1&4 – There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. …… that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
God has made every provision for us to live and have the blessing of divine life abundantly; but that is only through faith in Him and what He provided through Jesus Christ.
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The master promoter of corruption is Satan, the thief, whose works Jesus came to destroy so that we can live with God’s blessings..
John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
2 Peter 1:2-4 – Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Those who follow after these authors of corruption who continually sow to the flesh will also reap what they have sown – more corruption!
2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 – And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
As a side note: we need to recognize that fulfilling the carnal lusts of the flesh opens the door to welcome evil spirits (demons) that relish in that sort of evil behavior. Engaging in such behavior invites those spirits to come and participate with you in that action. Thus they will abide with you and then motivate you at their will to engage repeatedly in that behavior to the point that they will control it and not you. This is demonic oppression (not possession) from which you can be delivered. It’s best not to engage in such carnal activities so as to not attract them.
Galatians 5:16-17 – This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
As we abide in Christ, and He abides in us, He is our strength to overcome all that this world, the flesh, and the devil can throw at us.
Romans 8:31-32 & 38-39 – What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? …. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
